Tour itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi n’Tichka – Ouarzazate – Erfoud – Merzouga (Night in Desert Camp).
We pick you up from your hotel/riad in Marrakech and start the 2 days desert tour. On the way, we cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, enjoying amazing views and small Berber villages.
We continue towards Ouarzazate, Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, where you will feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. In the evening, we arrive in Merzouga Desert. Here, you will ride a camel across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes to the desert camp.
At the camp, you will enjoy a traditional Berber dinner, listen to drum music, and watch the sunset from the top of the dunes. You will spend the night in a nomad tent under the stars of the Sahara.
Day 2: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
Wake up early to watch the magical sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast and shower in the hotel, you ride camels back to Merzouga village.
Then we drive through Todra Gorges, Boumalne Dades, and beautiful Berber villages of the Atlas Mountains. In the evening, we return to Marrakech, ending your unforgettable 2 days desert tour.
