DAY 1: Errachidia – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert

On the first day, we will pick you up from your hotel or the airport in Errachidia, a charming city with Saharan weather, palm trees, and beautiful mountain views. Then, we drive towards the stunning Sahara Desert, making a stop in Erfoud, also called the gateway to the Sahara. Erfoud is close to the Erg Chebbi dunes and is famous for its fossil shops and traditional Saharan outfits. When we arrive in the desert, you will enjoy a camel ride to the highest dunes to watch the magical sunset.

This is a perfect moment to take photos of the golden sand and the breathtaking desert landscape. You will spend the night in a desert camp, surrounded by the quiet beauty of the Sahara.

DAY 2: Merzouga Camel Trek – Rissani – Erfoud – Errachidia

On the second day, we wake up early to experience the peaceful Saharan morning and  watch the sunrise over the dunes. After enjoying the sunrise and taking memorable photos, we return to the hotel for breakfast.

Then, we drive to Hassilabid to visit the Nomad Museum and learn about desert life and traditions. Finally, we return to Errachidia, where your 2 days Merzouga desert tour ends.
