Tour itinerary
Day 1: Errachidia – Erfoud – Merzouga
We will meet you at Errachidia airport or hotel and start our journey to the Sahara Desert. On the way, we’ll stop to enjoy the beautiful mountain views and take some photos of the amazing nature. When we arrive in Merzouga Desert, you will have a short rest before we go on a camel ride to the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi to watch a magical sunset.
At night, you’ll enjoy a traditional dinner, listen to Berber music, and relax under the shiny desert stars in a peaceful camp or hotel.
Day 2: Merzouga Desert Tour
After breakfast, we’ll explore more of the Merzouga Desert. We will visit Khamlia Village, where local people play Gnawa music and share their culture. You will meet nomad families, learn about their simple desert lifestyle, and have some Moroccan tea with them.
Later, you can try fun desert activities like sandboarding or quad biking on the dunes. In the evening, you’ll ride camels again to the camp and enjoy a beautiful night in the Sahara Desert.
Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Aoufous – Errachidia
Today, after breakfast, we’ll drive in a 4×4 car around the Erg Chebbi dunes to visit more desert landscapes, palm groves, and nomad areas. We’ll stop again in Khamlia to enjoy Gnawa music while drinking mint tea.
Then, you’ll go on another short camel trekking experience to enjoy the sunset over the golden dunes. The evening will be filled with drum music, delicious food, and a magical sky full of stars before spending the night in your comfortable desert camp.
Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Boumalne Dades – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After an early breakfast, we’ll leave the desert and start our drive toward Marrakech. On the way, we’ll pass through Rissani, Todra Valley, and Boumalne Dades, famous for their amazing rock formations and palm groves.
We’ll continue our journey through the Valley of Roses and stop to visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where many movies like Gladiator were filmed.
Finally, we’ll cross the High Atlas Mountains and arrive in Marrakech, where we’ll drop you off at your hotel or Riad in the end of your 4 Days Errachidia to Marrakech Desert Tour.
