Tour itinerary
Day 1: Agadir – Airport
After the transfer from the airport and accommodation in the hotel in Agadir, free time to visit Agadir and the beach… Free dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 2: Agadir » Taroudant » Taznakht Taliouine Ait Ben Haddou
We will meet at your Riad / hotel or wherever you are staying in Agadir to start our journey to Ait Ben Haddou, start our journey to Taroudant passing by Taznakht, famous for its Berber carpets, then we continue to Taliouine a town known for the production of saffron, passing by some of the local Berber villages among the argan trees, Taroudant known for its beautiful medina, similar to the red city of Marrakech. We will then continue to the kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. We will arrive at the fortified Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986. This famous ksar is a very popular place, The kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou is one of the number places in southern Morocco that is used for numerous international films and TV series. We will cross the river to observe the kasbah up close, we will pass through its small streets and climb to the top of the hill to enjoy the wonderful view, we will immortalize the moment to have a beautiful memory. Dinner and overnight stay in Riad.
Day 3: Ait Ben Haddou » Draa Valley » Nkob » Alnif » Rissani » Merzouga
After breakfast we head towards the Draa Valley, where one of the longest rivers in Morocco flows. We will make several stops to admire the beautiful kasbahs and Berber villages that we find on the road and the wonders of the Draa. After lunch in Alnif within two hours we reach the impressive dunes of Merzouga, where we can enjoy a tea and the hospitality of rest on a small journey. We leave our luggage at the hotel and everything that is not necessary in the desert and we will go on a camel trek for about an hour that takes us to the foot of the Great Dune, and we will see a beautiful sunset in the desert. Dinner and overnight in a tented camp in the desert under a spectacular canopy of stars.
Day 4: Merzouga » Todra Gorges » Dades Valley
Wake up early in the morning to see the sunrise and the different colors of the dunes compared to those of the sunset. We will then return to the hotel always on the back of the camel where after the shower and breakfast we will continue the tour towards Rissani, which was once the economic capital of Morocco and the center of the caravans leaving for the desert. We will then visit the Kasbahs of this town. We will take the road to the Todra Gorges, where the film Lawrence of Arabia was shot, among the most beautiful in southern Morocco. Here we will also stop for lunch and from here towards Boumalne Dades from where the valley of the same name begins, 25 km long that reaches the gorges, where we will take a walk in the middle of the lush and green vegetation in contrast with the surrounding red rock, and where the rammed earth buildings take on the same color as the rocks. Along this valley there is a succession of ksour, in the heart of cultivated fields and orchards. From here we continue on to the valley of roses. Here we will stop to spend the night in the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5: Dades Valley » Rose Valley » Skoura » Ouarzazate » Marrakech
After breakfast, we continue to the valley of roses, taking the road of the 1000 kasbahs, the typical buildings of southern Morocco. We will stop in the main city of this valley, El-Kalaa M’Gouna, famous for the flowering of this flower from which many body care products are obtained. We will also visit a laboratory for the extraction of this precious essence. From here we will head towards Skoura to visit the kasbahs of this area and make a stop. From here we will go to Ouarzazate for a visit to the largest and most famous film studios in all of Africa, the Atlas Studios, the kasbah of Taourirt always in Ouarzazate. Afterwards we pass through the village of Merzgane and the village of Ighrem, lunch on site and then continue towards Marrakech through the asphalt road, arrival in the afternoon. Free dinner and overnight in Riad.
Day 6: Marrakech » Visit to the Medina
Breakfast in the riad, visit of the city with the local guide. Marrakech is nicknamed “The Pearl of the South” and was founded in the 12th century by the Almoravid dynasty. The founders of Morocco left noteworthy palaces and gardens. Visit of the Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia gardens and the Bahia Palace. Continue with the visit of the souks and walk through the alleys of the city, where the scenery is fascinating. Finally visit of the famous Djemaa El Fna square. Free dinner and overnight stay in the Riad.
Day 7: Marrakech » Airport
Breakfast in the Riad and free time until departure time for the airport.
