Tour itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech.
8 days itinerary Morocco,Greeting at Marrakech Menara airport, transfer to your hotel or Riad in Marrakech.
Day 2 : Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Zagora.
The departure of your 8 days Itinerary from Marrakech is from Marrakech early in the morning, we cross the High Atlas mountains. Passing through the Tizi N’Tichka pass. On the way to Ouarzazate, you can have lunch in a restaurant with a spectacular view of the famous huge Kasbah of Taourirt, which presents the historical and cultural highlight of Ouarzazate. After lunch we will be traveling to the south and cross the second pass,1660m altitude anti-Atlas mountains called Tizi N’Tnifift, to reach Agdez. Then driving along the Draa valley, covered with palm trees all the way to Zagora, in which lunch would be served. In the afternoon departure to Tamgroute to visit the old Quranic Library, and the Manufacture of pottery we will be back to Zagora where we will spend the night.
Day 3: Zagora – N’kob – Alnif – Rissani – Rissani – Merzouga Dunes.
After having breakfast, the adventure continues along the Draa valley, to a place called Alnif where we will have lunch , then we head towards the famous sand dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. On the way we will come across Rissani city. The original capital of the Alawites. Nissan is known as the most authentic and traditional souks of Morocco. Also, it has the largest souk in the south, where it trades with all types of crafts, food and animals. Then we will continue to the Erg Chebbi to arrive Merzouga dunes, where you are going to switch to camels, and head to the heart of the desert. On the way, you will have a stop to witness the magnificent sunset, and spend the night in a Beber tent in the middle of the desert.
Day 4: Merzouga – Erfoud – Tinghir – Todra Gorges.
Waking up early in the morning to see the sunrise, have breakfast, then head to the town of Erfoud famous for its fossils excavating and Manufacturing. In the way to Tinjdad, we will have a stop to see the ancient underground system of irrigation used by the locals, After that we will continue to Todra Gorges where you will have lunch. Not to mention, that you can take a leisurely stroll through its imposing canyon walls over 200 meters high. In the afternoon, you can visit the city of Tinghir particularly the Jewish district.
Day 5:Todra Gorges -Dades Valley -Roses Valley – Ait Ben Haddou.
The departure from Tinghir, heading to Ait Ben Haddo through Dades valley with its beautiful landscapes. Also, we will join a route named the road of 1000 kasbahs, that connects so many villages and cities famous for their huge ancient fortified mud buildings. Our next destination is the city of roses called Kelaa Mgouna, a rose festival is celebrated every year in the city. Then the fascinating palmed city of Skoura before getting to Ouarzazate. You will continue to Ait Ben Haddou village, the fortified ksar with it’s beautiful Kasbahs. Ait Ben Haddou is classified as human heritage by the UNESCO. It was the scene for filming many movies. Once you get to Ait Ben Haddou village, you will have free time for lunch in a local restaurant overlooking the Kasbah, then you can take a walk to go up hill to see the whole village.
Day 6: Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Telouet – Marrakech.
Departure to Marrakech by crossing another valley named Ounila Valley, visit the famous Tizi NTichka pass and have lunch in a local restaurant in an area covered with high mountains, which make a fascinating landscapes, all the way to Marrakech.
Day 7: Marrakech Tour.
In the seventh day of this 8 itinerary from Marrakech, you will be sightseeing Marrakesh for the whole day, you will be visiting The Bahia Palace, The Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia mosque and the famous Jemaa-El-Fna square. It is famous for its souks and handicraft, where you can behold so many outdoor activities including jugglers, musicians, fakirs, snake charmers……. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 8: Marrakech – Departure.
In the last day of our 8 days Itinerary from Marrakech we will drop you off at the airport to catch up your flight out.
