DAY 1: Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Errachidia – Erfoud – Merzouga

Our 2 days Fes desert tour to Marrakech begins when we pick you up from your accommodation in Fes or a meeting point. We start by driving through the High Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” and the cleanest city in the country, where we can see the Atlas Lion statue. 

Next, we visit the Cedar Forest to see the Barbary Macaques. The journey continues through Zaida and Midelt, where we stop for lunch and a short rest. After lunch, we drive toward the Sahara Desert, passing the Ziz Valley, famous for its large date palm groves. Upon reaching Merzouga, you will enjoy a camel ride over the golden dunes to watch the sunset. Finally, we arrive at our luxury desert camp where you will have dinner and enjoy Berber music under the starry sky.

DAY 2: Merzouga – Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech

On the second day, you will wake up early to see the sunrise over the Sahara Desert. After breakfast at the camp, we take the camels back to Merzouga and start our journey toward Marrakech. On the way, we pass through Tinghir and Tinjedad, stopping for lunch, usually near Boumalne Dades. After enjoying the views of the High Atlas Mountains, we continue the drive until arriving in Marrakech, where your 2 days Fes desert tour to Marrakech ends.
