Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Todgha Gorges

We start our 3-day Fes to Merzouga tour by picking you up from your accommodation in Fes. We will drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, enjoying the stunning landscapes along the way. Our first stop will be Imouzzer town for a quick breakfast. Next, we will visit the Atlas Lion statue in Ifrane, one of the cleanest and most beautiful cities in Morocco.

After that, we head to the Cedar Forest in Azrou, home to wild Barbary monkeys. You can take photos, feed the monkeys, and enjoy the nature around. After lunch, we continue our journey through Midelt and Rich, admiring the high Atlas scenery. Later, we will reach the Todgha Gorges, famous for its 300-meter high cliffs carved by water over time. We will spend the night in Tinghir city.

Day 2: Tinghir – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Merzouga

On the second day, we will drive towards the Sahara Desert. Our first stop is Erfoud, known for its fossils and dates. We will explore the fossil museum and taste different types of dates. Next, we visit Rissani, the original city of the King, and enjoy a traditional Berber pizza (Medfouna) for lunch. We will also explore the Rissani souk, a traditional market where Touregs trade goods, and see the park with donkeys, sheep, and goats.

In the late afternoon, we will arrive in Merzouga, the highlight of the tour. Here, you will ride camels across the Erg Chebbi dunes to reach our luxury desert camp. At night, enjoy the Berber music, a campfire, and the stunning starry sky. You can even climb the dunes to see the Milky Way.

Day 3: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Errachidia – Fes

On the last day, we drive back to Fes, with several stops along the way. First, we will stop at the panoramic view of Ziz Valley, the largest source of dates palm trees. Then, we visit the Errachidia Dam, which provides water for the desert. After enjoying the views and taking photos, we will continue the drive to Fes, where the 3-day Sahara tour ends at your hotel or accommodation.
