Tour itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech
Arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, where you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel or Riad in Marrakech. Relax and enjoy your first evening in the city.
Day 2: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Zagora
Early morning, leave Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi N’Tichka pass. Stop for lunch with a view of Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate, a historical and cultural landmark. Continue south crossing the Anti-Atlas Mountains via Tizi N’Tnifift pass to Agdez, then drive along the beautiful Draa Valley with its palm trees to Zagora. On the way, visit Tamgroute to see the old Quranic Library and local pottery workshops. Overnight in Zagora.
Day 3: Zagora – N’kob – Alnif – Rissani – Merzouga Dunes
After breakfast, continue along the Draa Valley to Alnif for lunch. Drive to Rissani, the old capital of the Alawites, known for its traditional souks and crafts. Finally, reach the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga. Ride camels into the desert, enjoy the sunset, and spend the night in a Berber tent in the heart of the Sahara Desert.
Day 4: Merzouga – Erfoud – Tinghir – Todra Gorges
Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise in the desert, then have breakfast. Visit Erfoud, famous for fossil mining. Stop at Tinjdad to see ancient irrigation systems, then continue to Todra Gorges. Enjoy lunch and walk along the canyon with walls over 200 meters high. Visit Tinghir, including the Jewish district, in the afternoon. Overnight in Todra or nearby.
Day 5: Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Roses Valley – Ait Ben Haddou
Travel through Dades Valley and the famous Road of 1000 Kasbahs with its old fortified villages. Stop at Kelaa Mgouna, the Roses Valley, known for its rose festival. Visit Skoura and continue to Ouarzazate, then reach Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO world heritage site. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant and walk up to see the ancient Kasbahs. Overnight in Ait Ben Haddou or nearby.
Day 6: Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet – Marrakech
Leave Ait Ben Haddou and cross the Ounila Valley. Visit Telouet Kasbah and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant surrounded by high Atlas mountains. Return to Marrakech in the afternoon. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 7: Marrakech City Tour
