Tour itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi-n-Tichka – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges
On the first day of our 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, we will start by visiting an argan oil cooperative before crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. Next, we will visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the city of Ouarzazate, famous for its film studios and movie locations. Lunch will be served in one of these two places. Later, we will see the Monkey Fingers Mountains and the beautiful curves of Tisdrine. Overnight will be in a Riad/Hotel in Dades Gorges.
Day 2: Dades Gorges – Tinghir – Todra Gorges – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Merzouga (Night in desert)
On the second day, we will explore the stunning Todra Gorges, known for its 300-meter high canyons, perfect for photography. On the way, we will visit a Berber clothing cooperative to see traditional crafts. In the afternoon, we will reach Merzouga, where you will enjoy a camel ride into the Sahara Desert to our luxury desert camp. Dinner will be served at the camp, followed by Berber drums and music around the campfire under the starry desert sky.
Day 3: Camel Trekking back – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
On the last day, after a morning camel ride back to Merzouga, we will start our journey back to Marrakech. On the way, we will stop at Alnif and Agdz for lunch, then continue through the High Atlas Mountains. Enjoy the scenic views of mountains, valleys, and Berber villages along the way. Finally, we will arrive in Marrakech, completing your unforgettable 3-day desert tour.
